Eric Potts
Executive Director
Eric Potts was born and raised in Aberdeen, WA, and has now been serving the community he grew up in for over a decade as the Executive Director of the Grays Harbor Community Foundation. After graduating from Washington State University, Eric came back home to pursue a career and raise his family. He began his career at Harbor After School, followed by a seven-year career as the Director of Admissions & Outreach at the Grays Harbor College. Eric has many years of experience working in the Grays Harbor community, promoting education and scholarships. He has also spent the last 15 years enjoying coaching youth sports.
Jessica Hoover
Senior Program Officer
Before joining the Grays Harbor Community Foundation in June 2015, Jessica predominantly worked within the nonprofit sector for organizations like The Collins Group and Providence St. Peter Foundation. She is a Graduate of Aberdeen High School the University of Washington. She is passionate about philanthropy and was always proud of her Harbor roots. She is thrilled to be back home in Grays Harbor to raise her family (of 7!) and give back to the community she loves.
Valerie Piper
Finance & Accounting Officer
Valerie joins the Grays Harbor Community Foundation as the Finance and Accounting Officer, with 20+ years of experience in finance, mostly in the private sector. She grew up in Arizona, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Arizona. She served as the Finance Director for the Community Foundation in Olympia, WA for eight years, and gained a true passion for the nonprofit world and serving the community. Valerie and her husband have lived in Grays Harbor for 18 years, where they are raising two wonderful children, and enjoy hiking, kayaking, and working on house projects.
Lyndsie Winter
Operations & Program Assistant
Lyndsie Winter joins the Grays Harbor Community Foundation with a background in marketing and communications. She has worked in the athletic departments at Boise State, Portland State, and for the Western Athletic Conference. She served as the marketing and communications manager at the Port of Kalama before relocating for her husband’s job and becoming a stay at home mom while raising their two children before returning to the work force in 2013 at the Satsop Business Park.
Lyndsie has a Communications degree from Boise State University and a Master of Sports Administration degree from Ohio University. She and her family moved to Montesano in 2011 and love the Harbor community.
