The Grays Harbor Community Foundation Vocational Scholarship Program is designed to support individuals who are starting their education and training in skilled trades and technical careers. This scholarship provides financial assistance to students planning to enroll for the first time or returning after a period of time in accredited vocational, technical or trade school. Our hope is for students to gain the skills and certifications needed to enter high-demand industries such as construction, manufacturing, automotive technology, information technology and more.
The program aims to remove financial barriers, promote workforce development, and empower recipients to achieve meaningful and sustainable employment.
Eligible applicants typically include recent high school graduates, adult learners, and career changers who demonstrate commitment, motivation and financial need.
