OUR DONORS

Listed below are the individuals, families, and businesses who have made possible the work of the Grays Harbor Community Foundation.  The charitable assets held by our foundation were built up over many years by many donors, one gift at a time.  Gifts have ranged from $5 to nearly $4,000,000.  The average gift to our foundation is around $1000.

We here recognize our donors through a simple list.  We hope the list reveals a few basic yet remarkable facts about the Grays Harbor Community Foundation:

  • Our foundation would not exist were it not for the generosity of our donors.

  • Our foundation "belongs" to many people.  In a sense, it belongs to everyone who lives in the communities we serve.

  • Our foundation is supported:

    • By people from all walks of life and of all ages.

    • By people both with and without great wealth.

    • By people who live in Grays Harbor County and also by people who no longer live here but want to give back to their former community.

    • By people who probably don't think of themselves as "philanthropists."

    • By families, businesses, and other foundations.

  • We trust that our foundation's list of donors will never stop growing.

In the list below, the individuals marked with asterisks (*) had gifts given to the foundation by others (also listed) in memory of them.
